Heather Karr's Cancer Journey

Welcome to the Heather Karr Go Fund me page.  My name is Mary and I am also a breast cancer survivor and am proud to be Heather's friend. It is important to say upfront that Heather had reservations about me setting this up for her so I basically bullied her into it. So many of you have asked how you can help and I wanted to channel those efforts into place that is perfect for this journey. I don't know if most of you are aware of the massive amounts of hours Heather has donated via free massage for hospice patients over the years. Heather also opened her home to a young woman with terminal brain cancer and took care of her for about 6 months before she passed. It seems so cruel to me that she is now stricken with cancer and I intend to do everything I can to make this process easier for her. Heather still has much work to do on this earth and I am a better person for being part of her life.
It is important to note that Heather must go thru more than one surgery at this point so her down time is extensive and that is catastrophic for a self employed individual who replies on her ability to do massage to earn a living. 
All funds donated will go towards medical bills for both surgeries and adjunct treatments to eradicate this cancer.   Thank you in advance for your help!
