Heat Up Topeka Wellness Program

Heat Up Topeka is a free community-wide wellness program that supports the wellness journey of over 1200 participants per year.  The program has been a huge success and is impacting participants physical, mental, and social health.  Heat Up Topeka has been life changing for participants by helping them transition from a solitary and/or sedentary lifestyle to feeling active, empowered, and connected to their community.  Participants have come to rely on the program as a primary source of support and an avenue to improve their quality of life.  Participants were distressed to hear of the loss of the program's United Way funding.  As such, we are raising money to support the continuation of the program through alternate avenues such as foundations, grants, and private donations.  If you have benefited from the program, have a friend or family member who has benefited, or if you have an interest in the overall health of the Topeka community, we ask that you consider giving to this great cause.  The family of participants will surely honor your generosity through a variety of "pay it forward" activities, as is their tradition.
