Heart Transplant for Nolan

Meet our "heart warrior" Nolan! Nolan was diagnosed with a Congenital heart defect before birth. He had a fetal intervention in utero to open his Aortic valve at Boston children's hospital, the family relocated temporarily to Boston for the birth and Nolan had a balloon valvuloplasty at 1 day old. Nolan soon came home and for the most part lives a normal toddler life.

The time came this summer for his first open heart surgery....his little heart had worked so hard for 3 years, it did not recover like expected. Nolan is now in heart failure. His parents have reached for every star....looking into doctors/hospitals for Nolan. They are grateful to have found UPMC Children's in Pittsburgh....Nolan is admitted there and on the transplant list waiting for his new heart! This will be a long journey for Nolan and his family. 

Nolan has a great support system as his parents,  brother Logan who is 7, and sister McKinley who is 4 have moved to Pittsburgh indefinitely for Nolan's treatment. If you feel in your heart to donate to help Nolan on his journey for a new heart, even as a 3 year old he will be eternally grateful as he travels this road for the rest of his life.
