Heart patient awaiting transplant

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Chris and I am and have been a heart patient my entire life. In 2016 my heart has declined to a point where I am having life threatening heart rythym issues only kept in check by an aggressive medication and has left me unable to work and awaiting a heart transplant. I am struggling to make ends meet and could lose my home without assistance. I have gone through all the usual paths on getting help, however it is not enough. As many of my friends can tell you I am a strong and positive person that will always help when needed.

Thank you to all that read this for taking the time to read this and any help you can give is appreciated a lot.

Positive thinking will always be my main focus and will get me through even the toughest of times. I have a hard time asking for help and am usually the one helping others. An example of this is a post on Facebook earlier this year:

People will tell you that you can't, won't or shouldn't. That it's too hard, tough or impossible.

You can, you will and you should! Yes life will throw curveballs and speed bumps at you as you step up to bat or journey on that road, but that doesn't mean you aren't strong enough to try and overcome.

I throw my heart and soul into what is important to me, and I will never apologize for trying. Life is too precious and too short to look back and think to yourself "if I would of just tried harder".

I have had many highs in my life and probably just as many lows. I wouldn't know about the lows as I use them to make myself better, stronger and wiser.

There is the famous line "What goes up, must come down". Everyone forgets that things do go back up. Nothing bad lasts forever, unless you invite it to stay and let whatever it may be weigh you down.

Life is short, but it doesn't mean you can't make it good. Thank the people in your life daily, love unconditionally. Put out into the world what you want in return.

How do you want to be remembered in life? You have that power and control. Let your actions define your words. Be true to your heart and soul. I have heard of miracles, seen miracles and felt miracles. I've stood on the cliffs of mortality and shouted "Not today, not until I've finished what I came here to do!"

Everyday is a chance at a new beggining, please seize that opportunity and live with a fire in your eyes and an unwillingness to give up.

I haven't done one of these in a long while. I see your posts, I hear your struggles. You are strong enough and if you can't find that strength reach out to those that are important to you to get you where you know you ought to be.

Sometimes even the strongest in spirit need a helping hand.
