Heart Operation for Richell
I am Garri Adrian Nablo. I am from Cebu City Philippines and I have created this campaign to help, my sister-in-law, Richell raise funds for her operation.
My sister-in-law, Richell, is a single mother and a teacher. She has been taking care of her daughter all by herself. She has made numerous sacrifices to make ends meet.
Right now she is battling a very rare heart condition: Ventricular Septal Defect and Valsalva Sinus Aneurysm. In short, she has two holes in her heart (one at the right and one at the upper middle part). Doctors said that her condition is only a pediatric case, the fact that she reached this age made it a rare case. And that for me is a miracle already. I am praying that the miracle continues.
We need approximately 600-700 thousand pesos (PHP) for her entire operation.
Although she has a bit of money saved and have received some support from our relatives, unfortunately these are still not enough.
We’re currently asking help from charitable institutions (hospital’s charity, Champ & PCSO) but time is very crucial given her condition. We do not know when and if it will be granted. We are still far from the target amount but through God’s will and your help we will eventually reach this goal.
For transparency, gofundme currently does not include Philippines in its list of supported countries; this makes withdrawing an issue. To address this we asked the help of a family friend, Nene Arias Niere, to let us use her US bank account so that we can withdraw the money. She will wire the money to my wife's, Stephanie Joy Nablo, account specifically created for this campaign. We created an account specifically for this because Richell's bank account is not currently setup to receive wire transfers from foreign banks.
