Healthy Stages:Changing the Stories

Tax deductible

Healthy Stages: Changing The Stories is a new and exciting project focusing on the consequences of play deprivation of children. Scientific studies have shown that children who are denied opportunities for enjoyable play and social interaction, grow into violent, suicidal, aggressive, depressed, and obese teenagers and adults. How can foster care children- already in grief- have opportunities to play with other children if they go from one foster home to another? How can these children spend time in school with recycling pressure regarding exams, homework, and continuous visits to social services, therapists, and parental visitations. Healthy Stages: Changing The Stories focuses on healing these children and teens from the grief they have experienced. We firmly believe that they need to be given opportunities to socially interact and play in order to learn and grow into amazing adults. Replacing video games and cell phones, with great artistic experiences such as signing, photography, creative writing, swimming, sports, hiking, and gardening. These experiences are wonderful opportunities to allow foster children and teens to grief in an artistic and creative way.

This project includes facilitating workshops, seminars, trainings, performances, and media presentations for foster parents, adoptive parents, birth parents, grandparents, teachers, social workers, therapists, and any one on this beautiful planet that is interested in helping these vulnerable youth. Of course, we cannot help these children alone. We need YOUR HELP! With your donation, we will be able to change the stories and live of these children and teens.

Our goal is to fundraise as much as $16,000 in order to help these grieving individuals! We believe in the power of academics, financial education, and the potency of the creative and performing arts.

Please donate to help these displaced children and teens, caregiving adults, and all affiliated by social injustices. The power of music, song, dance, photography, writings, sports, and holistic health practices is embraced within our journey to assist the grieving foster youth.
