The School of Athens is hosting Heels for Healing: Drag for a Cause at the Railhead Saloon on May 12, 2017, to raise money for the Oklahoma City Ronald McDonald House.
We have all been touched by stories of children suffering from illness and injury. Often we forget their families who are uprooted to provide care for their children during treatment. Ronald McDonald House provides a home for these families during the long weeks and months these children are in treatment.
Much of the care provided by The Ronald McDonald House includes; housing, meals, transportation, activities and daily care items. Unfortunately, Ronald McDonald House cannot afford to cover the full cost of housing all families in need. The families are expected to pay a fee ranging from $10-$50 per night.
All money raised through this page and during Heels for Healing: Drag for a Cause will be donated to The Ronald McDonald House in Oklahoma City to assist with the costs of housing these families.
School of Athens is a non profit organization developed specifically to raise money for various children's charities in the area.
