"Healing through Body Art"
This idea was born while doing a Reiki Session on a client who had just given birth. unfortunately the infant did not make it past his 9th day. The client was not only healing physically from a C-section, but also trying to heal spiritually and mentally....
As I was giving Amber a Reiki healing, I received a message from a Higher Power, I was to start a project called "Healing through Body Art" .
This would not only help her embrace her scar and to slowly mend her broken heart with the loss of her little angel Cameron, but it would also help others who may have experienced any struggle or have faced adversity in their life.
The Journey was born........ My vision for this project, "Healing through Body Art", was for individuals of any age or background.
To enhance their courageousness, to help them heal and to be the survivor they know they can be!
Christalene is based out of "THE SHOP" in Annapolis (Cape Saint Claire), Maryland where she provides "Healing Through Body Art" services such as "Adorning/Henna crowns" (bald heads), "Chest/Plaster castings ( Pre-Mastectomy), Pre-Natal, art" and "Henna/Body Painting".
Christalene also offers outreach services to The Wellness House, Hospice of The Chesapeake, and Jovenas Artistas.
For 5 years now, All of the above services for the "Healing Through Body Art Project", have been offered on a volunteer basis and the funding has always been provided from her own means. (Hence, this is the reason why she had opened a GO FUND ME account).
For Christalene to continue "Healing Through Body Art" on a volunteer basis, she is seeking any donation/s to assist with all materials and her rental space. She is hoping to reach this goal by June 17th, 2016.
Her gratitude for these donations will be shown through her continued dedication to her clients and those in need of healings through body art!
