Healing Together Christmas party

Hello everyone my name is Donnesha Cooper and i am the mother of Alianna DeFreeze. I wanted to do something for Christmas that would be full of love and healing. So Our Program Rebuilding Our Village and B.E.M.A.D Grieving Parent Support Group will be holding our 2nd Annual Christmas Party on December 15, 2018 for Children who have lost their parents and or siblings. The Healing Together Blessing Tree event was inspired by my daughter Alianna DeFreeze who was kidnapped and murdered on her way to school in January of last year. So because of this we understand that parents with young children dealing with the loss of a loved one face a particularly difficult challenge working through their own grief, while simultaneously trying to help their children deal with death and loss. This event will be the kick off for our bereavement children support system and many other events. There will be food, crafts, presents, a ceremony to honor our lost loved ones and of course lots of love, support and healing for everyone. Due to the rising number of Opiate deaths and murders we have many children who we feel would benefit from your donations. We have about 100 families that we intent to love on, and we are in need prizes, toys, gift cards, New or nearly new/used clothing items, food items, monetary contributions, and especially our teens and a little something for our mothers too and volunteers to help  ‌make this a memorable event for our families.
