One Village Healing

Tax deductible
What is the cost of systemic oppression on our bodies, hearts, and minds?  What about on our families, connections, communities, future possibilities, and future generations?

At the intersection of arts, healing, and justice- One Village Healing [OVH] is an emerging New Haven based wellness and healing arts initiative dedicated to creating spaces, convenings, and programming, rooted in the values of the healing justice movement to collectively heal from the impact of systems of oppression so we can all live wildly liberated, connected, inspired, and healthy lives.

One Village Healing is dedicated to creating community healing spaces that are rooted in our ability to recognize, listen to, include, and activate the specific needs of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color [BIPOC], gender nonconforming people, the LGBTQIA+ community, refugees, women, immigrants and all others healing from systemic oppression and systemic trauma.

The Healing Studio @ OVH is a roots level healing space where all are invited to acknowledge, understand, and get free from the fragmenting systems of oppression acting on our bodies, minds, and spirits in an effort to know, restore to, and love your whole selves by utilizing the healing arts and holistic healing modalities. The healing studio is located at 216 Crown Street 4th Floor at Breathing Room Yoga & Wellness Center.

Founding practitioners, Hanifa Nayo Washington and Thema Haida, are offering reiki, intuitive energy work, intuitive card readings, yoga, authentic relating sessions, expressive arts healing sessions, as well as various small group workshops/classes. In addition to these offerings the Healing Studio @ OVH will be programmed with guest practitioner sessions, workshops, classes, and series from a wide variety of local, regional, and international healers who are committed to the healing justice movement.

At OVH we hope to connect healers to each other and grow a kick butt community of dynamic holistic practitioners along the way!  OVH offers staff trained in anti-oppression practices, free/pay what you can access to healing services, and a beautiful accessible space for healing and connection.

Your donation supports the wellbeing of generations ahead and the healing of the ancestors we are all becoming.  We thank you warmly for your support!

We are seeking community support of $10,000 to support our Karma Fund that allows OVH to offer free and pay what you can healing services to those who need it most and to support general operating costs to keep the doors open and lights on.
