We are overwhelmingly HAPPY to say that as of this date, cancerous TUMOR cannot be found in Cameron’s body!!
Cameron has finished chemotherapy and radiation and no longer has these treatments!
Cameron is now working on getting stronger and healthier. He does still require a feeding tube until he is able to eat on his own again. We’ll take it!
The fight to restore the household is just beginning. As we stated during the initial stage of this campaign, dad gave up his business to support Cameron full-time during Cam’s treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital which devastated the household financially, causing the family to downsize to a small 2 bedroom apartment.
The most difficult challenge is in the area of transportation. We lost 2 vehicles that we were no longer able to pay for since dad gave up his income. Mom travels 200 miles a day to and from work and it’s taking a toll on the only car we have.
Dad only has his motorcycle that he rides to work everyday even when it’s 30 degrees and/or raining. Needless to say, we are in desperate need of a good/reliable used car so that at least mom can make it back and forth to work without fearing that the car will break down.
First, we thank ALL OF THOSE who gave during Cams treatment. We were OVERWHELMED by the support. Today, we need your help to get back on track a little by being able to get a reliable car so that mom can continue to work without fear of losing her job because of a lack of transportation.
I smile as I write this because I remember how scared, embarrassed, and unsure we were when we started Cameron’s campaign. It was YOU GUYS who showed us that all we had to do was reach out.
With that being said, THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts for all that you’ve done and contributed ❤️
