On the 3-week anniversary of Jack's double lung transplant, Susanna received unthinkable, devastating news--she was diagnosed with an aggressive gynecological cancer.
After successful surgery at Mass General on April 3rd, Susanna is fighting hard to recover and get home to her beloved family before beginning chemo therapy the first week of May.
Just like Jack and his miraculous recovery, Susanna’s strength, humility, courage and will to live will continue to carry her and the Quinn family through this challenging time to a full recovery for her and Jack.
So many friends have reached out asking what they can do to help during this challenging time, so we have created a way that we can all contribute toward a cancer-fighting meal train. We plan to have healthy meals prepared for them, designed to fight cancer and inflammation for the duration of the next six months of Susanna's chemo.
