It was after a number of funny circumstances that photographer Kristian Verono met these amazing and unique women in Wellington, Florida.
He was inspired by their relationships with their horses and dedication to their sport so decided to arrange a photoshoot to help them raise money to go further in their training.
These two women are Paralympic athletes and the money raised will help his friends to go to competitions and pay for expenses related to these events, from horse and rider training to transportation, food and lodging.
Kristian Verono recognized that the horses are not judging these women by their disabilities and set out to capture that in his art.
The fabulous clothes from Maison Marie Saint Pierre, in Wynwood, Miami, just added a magic touch on these black & white pictures.
These women work incredibly hard to ride at a competitive level. They overcome obstacles on a daily basis to get to the barn and ride and train.
Riding horses and competing successfully is a way they each rehabilitate their bodies, minds and spirits.

Elle Wooley is a Paralympic athlete who is in full training in Wellington, FL with International Grand Prix rider Andrea Woodard with her exciting young horse.
The team have all the ability and drive to becoming a very competitive pair for the US Paralympic team with further training.
Elle had a stroke as a child and returned to riding as soon as she could out of rehab in spite of the fact she was left with paralysis of her left arm and leg. Elle has successfully competed in para dressage competitions and is a Grade III athlete.
Chelsea Perez is a Canadian rider currently living in Maryland and training with Canadian Grand Prix rider and trainer, Eiren Crawford.
She is the mother of two university aged kids and works in Washington, DC.
Chelsea is an arm amputee from birth and started riding as a young girl in rural Canada and has dedicated most of her life to horses and riding with the tremendous support of her husband and kids. With a strong desire to represent her country she began serious dressage training five years ago. She has competed to 3rd level and Grade V para equestrian.
