Pituitary Tumor Surgery

My name is Carissa. I am 37 years old and was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor called a Macroadenoma, which is the large type. The Dr. said that it had been growing for years, most likely, and will continue until it is removed. I was diagnosed in April after I passed out unconscious and due to a seizure, chewed up my entire tongue. The seizure gave me no warning and I was later found on the floor, blue and purple and not breathing. I have no recollection of any of it. I have since had several seizures, and constant varying degrees of tremors and twitching. The tumor has caused double vision and hallucinations, visual, auditory, and tactile. Having no health insurance, I applied for Disability and Medicaid twice, and financial assistance through the hospital and that was denied as well. Once with the help of a lawyer, I was denied. The second time, I saw a doctor for an SSI evaluation and had a seizure in the office and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hypertension, but the Dr. neglected to document either one in my SSI report. The Pituitary Gland being the hormone hub, there are countless symptoms, which I have been dealing with for many months, such as extreme lethargy, memory loss, passing out unable to be woken up, skin rashes, welts, and other things that are too graphic to mention. My skin bleeds and bruises easily and can take weeks to heal and stop bleeding. These things obviously cause me a great deal of anxiety and depression, things that many people unfortunately do not take seriously. Some of the average costs for the services I need are as follows. I am not asking for that exorbitant amount of assistance, but I do need to pay something initially for the surgery and I believe, the full amount for the specialists and lab work. I have never had to ask for anything like this... I will continue to call laywers, but have done phone interviews with with two already and they would not take my case. Even if I can find one, and the case turns out in my favor, I know it will take months or years and I'm terrified I won't make it that long, especilly because I am alone the majority of the day and through the night, and have no one in my area to spend time with me when I am alone.
