It is very difficult for me to do this as I think those that know me will understand. I have held on as long as I can since 2008. My health issues continue to get worse and I have not been able to work since January of 2015. I was receiving SDI benefits but they stopped in January of 2016 and I am currently waiting for Social Security benefits to be approved. However, this could take another 12 to 18 months before it happens. My family has helped a great deal, more than they should, I am blessed with that. However, they can't keep doing so. I am asking for help to maintain a place to sleep/live until I get my SS benefits as well as pay for utilities and supplies. I currently am only receiving $357 a month in food, that's it. 

UPDATE TO THINGS AUGUST 5th, 2016:
It has been three weeks now since starting this campaign and the first 1-2 weeks were amazing. The response from people was great and we were able to take care of a few things but as of a week ago things have stopped and we are once again faced with the hard reality of not being able to pay for the simplest of things. I have very critical matters that need to be paid this next week and as it stands I cannot do so.
