Marine vet family post fire rebuild

Donation protected
Sergeant James Perez is an honorably discharged Marine combat veteran. One of the best Marines I have had the pleasure of serving with, James' accolades include the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal for Valor in Combat, the Humanitarian Service Medal for his involvement in relief efforts following the earthquakes in Haiti, and he was named the Marine Combat Engineer of the Year in 2011. His family (wife and two daughters) stood proudly by James' side as they endured deployment after deployment. The Perez family looked forward to the day when they could be united permanently in a location where they could raise their daughters near family. They finally had that chance earlier this year. On 12 November the home of the Perez family was burnt down as a result of a furnace fire. Fortunately nobody was home, and a courageous neighbor who witnessed the blaze was able to rescue the family dog. However, ALL of the family’s belongings were lost. Not to mention their home destroyed beyond livable. The insurance company will only reimburse pennies on the dollar for the furniture, clothing, electronics, etc... not to mention the extraordinary costs of rebuilding.

My wife and I are asking for your support to help this young family rebuild the life they have dreamed of for their young daughters. As well as help restore the home, stability and future they worked so hard to build.
