HB 14U Girls Softball Nationals

The Huntington Beach Girls Softball 14U All Star team has qualified for USA Girls Fastpitch Softball Western Nationals in Salem, Oregon !!  The tournament takes place July 28th-August 5th.   The girls are working hard and look forward to representing the City of Huntington Beach at Nationals!!  The team consists of 15 local players from HB/Westminster/Cypress, many of the players have been with HBGS since tee ball and will be moving on to Marina, HBHS and Ocean View High School this year.   It has been an extremely exciting season going in with no expectations other than to have fun and prepare the girls for High School, yet the girls kept things exciting, continued to surprise us and didn't disappoint!! They ended their season over .500, came in  4th Place in Central Districts which qualified them for States and from there earned a spot at NATIONALS!!

We constantly get compliments from other teams about the girls good sportsmanship, hard work on the field and the energy they bring to the dugout.  They have represented the City of Huntington Beach well and have helped give the city a good reputation in the softball world.

They will be competing with 40 other teams for a chance at the National Championship!!  We are raising funds to help pay for travel costs for the team and look forward to receiving your support!!!  For other ways to help the team (including items they are requesting to be donated: cases of water, sports drinks, sunflower seeds (you would never believe how much of this they go through!!) as well as gift cards to restaurants for meals on the road and travel hygiene kits) please contact us via our gofundme page!
