Have Elissa's Back! Medical Fundraiser

Hello friends and fam! I created this fundraiser on behalf of my loving mom who needs some help getting the surgeries she needs. For decades my mother Elissa has powered through a back injury that greatly limited her physical abilities. Despite being in almost constant discomfort she is always there to help out friends or family in a jam and she even enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society until the pain got to be too great.


Elissa has put off these surgeries because like many Americans she lives paycheck to paycheck (and her limited mobility greatly narrows the types of jobs she can have) and she has worried how she would be able to take care of expenses and her animals if she is not working for a month to recover. On top of that she has had to miss work and shorten hours due to bad back days so she has been scraping by as it is. I think she deserves to be pain-free and will be helping her as much as I am able during this process! 

As her first surgery has been scheduled for the end of August 2019 I am humbly asking for any donations, big or small, to assist my mom during this time. After years of being a wonderful mother, grandma, and dog-and-cat mom I am looking forward to seeing her have lots of GOOD DAYS without her worrying about missing work to heal.
