Haunted Harmonies

Donation protected

Haunted Harmonies is a one of a kind a cappella festival and competition for High School and College a cappella groups. On October 8, 2016 Haunted Harmonies will take over downtown Salem, MA, and there will be music flowing in the streets!

The event includes High School and College competition, masterclasses in arranging, rehearsal techniques, vocal percussion and bass, improv, and even a class in busking techniques. Later students will perform on the streets to practice their new learned skills in front of the crowds of October visitors in downtown Salem, MA.

Your donations will help pay for sound, staging, promotional materials, and covering the rental of our evening concert venue along with the assorted small things such events require.

Funds are needed by the first week of October.

This is an opportunity to bring music education to our talented youth, and beauty to the streets of Salem.

The organizing team consists of Amy Malkoff: Executive Director for the Women's A Cappella Association, and Marketing Director for the A Cappella Education Association; Jodi Jenkins-Ainsworth: voice professor at Berklee School of Music and soprano for Vox One; Alex Grover: Director of Chorale Music at Danvers High School; Phil Wyman: Pastor of The Gathering in Salem and founder/organizer of the Salem Halloween Fountain Stage; and Tina Jordan: Director of the Salem Witch Museum.

Your generous support helps us create a larger space of beauty and education in the wildly wonderful experience that is Salem in October.
