Harrison16Fund is  now a registered charity. It has been set up in Harrison's name. Harrison who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2014 at the age of 16 ,  a battle with bone cancer that cost him his leg in January 2015. We had been fundraising to fund a more capable leg, more suitable to the needs of a young man just starting out in life.
However, after a successful campaign to raise the funds, we decided to set up the charity in order to extend our fundraising to include other young people and children affected by sarcomas, primary bone cancer.
*Rasing money for treats.
*Rainsing money to go towards more capable limbs for young people, who lost limbs to primary bone cancer.
*Raising awareness of Osteosarcoma and Ewing Sarcoma.
Our aims are to raise funds to allow children who have faced a similar battle to Harrison, breaks with their family to Blackpool, during the illuminations. We hope to fund attraction tickets for  the family, a two night stay in a 3 or 4 * star hotel and provide gift cardsfor meals and/ or expenses. This way they can enjoy making memories without worrying about the cost.  
Blackpool is a magical place for most children, especially during the illuminations.
We would also like to raise enough money to buy an adapted caravan on a park in Blackpool, in order to extend the stays and times when families can visit.
We are also continuing to raise funds for Harrison, as any funds specifically for him, that take us over the intended target, will go towards future maintence/adjustments   and private physo ( not available on the NHS with this type of leg)
