A wonderful family has been serving delicious Indian food in downtown Visalia for a short time since they took over Cafe India at 211 Main St.
Well, in the past few weeks their windows have been smashed in four times. No other businesses in the area have been affected, and the vandalism is being investigated as why one family and business is being targeted. I can make my guess and I am sure you can as well, and I am not okay with it. I want to show support to our neighbors and show them that the community cares about everyone. I think it is even more important in these times, lets show our love, not just speak or write about it.
The windows being smashed are about $1,000 each to replace, and having been in the industry long enough, they usually are not covered or worth the insurance claim. So things like this just come out of the pocket of the restaurant owner.
