I am a passionate and aspiring pro-cyclist. I recently moved to Texas to attend graduate school for my Masters in Exercise Physiology at Midwestern State University and to race for the prestigious MSU cycling team. I have been really fortunate thus far in my experience and support. Due to my results I was able to achieve an amazing offer for 2015 to race for a European Pro Cycling Team (EUregio Ladies Cycling Team) which is based out of the Netherlands. I have signed a one- year contract with Euregio, but I also have been given permission to race in the United States for MSU during the school year (collegiate season). To race in Europe is a dream coming true for every aspiring pro-cyclist, and as a part of this team we are given opportunities to race UCI races in Belgium, Germany, and The Netherlands aside some World Cup UCI-races we will attend. I will be leaving right after collegiate nationals in May straight to the Netherlands for the summer-season. Due to the fact that my travel-expenses to Europe and return and my food-expenses on non-race days are not covered in my contract I want to ask for your kind support. I could not say no to this once in a lifetime- opportunity to race in Europe in fear that I may not be able to afford the initial travel costs and food expenses. I am kindly asking for donations to pursue my dream while advocating that elite/pro athletes can pursue a higher level of education while being a role-model to many aspiring future female pro-cyclists.
