My name is Stuart Hacker and I am a father of two from Northamton UK>
As many of you know by now, I have a few swims coming up. I will be swimming the 22km Sea of Galilee in December and the English Channel in September 2017 (21 miles). I will face tides, jellyfish and the COLD during these attempts.
I am doing this to try and give something back to the Hannah Payne RDA group (Riding for the disabled). This local Charity have been amazing for my Daughter Katie throughout her life. Katie has Septo Optic Dysplasia and the RDA have helped her to gain so much confidence. They help so many disabled children locally and ask for nothing in return. Its time for me to try and help them !
I am swimming all the time to try and be ready for these huge challenges (more than 25km / week in the pool, lake and sea). I will aslo be swimming through the winter in my trusty speedos to try and make sure that I can stand the cold.
Please give a few pennies if you can spare it. This local charity are simply amazing and your support will mean so much to the children.
