Handicapped Irma Evacuees Need Help

The Thompson's hit the road, fearing the worst. They live in the path of Hurricane Irma. Eloise Thompson said that her family of 6 made the decision to leave their home in Zephyrhills, right outside of Tampa, leaving everything behind. They headed straight to Charlotte, where her oldest Grandson opened his home.
Fox 46 covered the family's story and the family is desperate for help. Two of the family members are handicapped. Eloise's daughter, a US Air Force Veteran has multiple sclerosis and is quadripelgic. Her long time friend, has Parkinson's disease. The family is in dire need of a handicap room, gas, medical supplies, including catheter tubes, adult diapers, and bed packs. Also, the RV that brought the family away from the storm is in need of major repairs. They also have dogs and a cat with them, they just couldn't leave any member of the family behind.
Money raised will go to getting the Thompson family back on their feet. It will get them home and assist with anything else that is needed. The family still doesn't know what they are going home to and how much damage Hurricane Irma has done to their home. Over 6 million people are still without power in Florida, it could be weeks before the power goes back on.
