Volunteering in Tanzania!

Hello all! This June, following my IB exams, I will be running a half marathon in Wiesbaden, Germany. I am hoping to raise money in order to volunteer in Tanzania for seven weeks in July, August and September with Raleigh International.
This expedition/project will involve spending time in villages and working alongside the locals to build sanitation facilities (toilets), as well as increasing awareness among the children about hygiene and menstruation. In Tanzania and other underprivileged countries, many deaths that to us would seem preventable occur due to seeminly simple causes such as a lack of hand washing facilities. This hinders the communities' and the country's development, so by delivering this aid first-hand, we will hopefully give these people a 'boost' in the right direction.
After three weeks of doing this, I will either embark on a ~250km trek through the Iringa region of Tanzania, or spend three weeks planting trees and doing other environmental conservation work. Deforestation is becoming an increasingly serious problem in Tanzania, due to the dependence that the population has on trees for firewood.
The money raised will go towards this expedition and towards Raleigh International, the organisation with whom I will be working. I am aware that this fundraising target is incredibly ambitious, and I do not expect to reach it whatsoever. Nonetheless, any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated by both myself, Raleigh International and (hopefully) the people in Tanzania who we will be helping.
