Jasper's Medical Fund

On June 8th, Matthew's dog (and my dog's brother), Jasper, was mauled by a larger dog, resulting in severe injuries. Jasper has made it through his first surgery, but the vet believes Jasper has received a spinal injury that has resulted in paralysis of the hind legs. The vet initially recommended that Matthew euthanize Jasper, but as soon as the vet left the room to give Matthew time to think about this very painful decision, Jasper attempted to walk. Matthew put Jasper on the ground, and Jasper had clear function of at least one hind leg. We feel that Jasper was sending a message to us that putting him down is the not the right option at this time and that there is still hope. In order to help support Matthew during this time with the mounting medical bills, I am creating this GoFundMe account on behalf of Matthew. As some of you know, I lived with Jasper and Matthew and feel that Jasper is one of my own as well, and because Jasper is Tyson's brother, I want to fight for him.
