Haiti Mission Team - March 2019

We are a team of eight individuals from West Michigan, headed to Ile a Vache, Haiti, in March 2019 for a short term mission trip. We are traveling at our own expense; however, we are raising funds to assist with our projects while on the island. In coordination with Caribbean Children’s Foundation (CCF), we will be working with three schools and one orphanage on this tiny island of Haiti. The orphanage is home to nine children, and we are working to help the home to be self-sustaining. Funds raised will be used to purchase materials to build a large chicken coop. The chicken coop will be large enough to produce eggs for daily market sale. Additional funds raised will be used to acquire needed supplies for the school, supplies for the orphanage, and to help with the cost of translators.

While in the schools, we will be photographing and surveying the children to help maintain CCF’s education sponsorship program. CCF’s education sponsorship program serves over 800 children a year.
