Hailey Steward Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
From Becky, campaign organizer: Despite having now dealt with Hailey's cancer for 5 long years, her family is extremely hesitant to ask for help. With the mounting bills they faced during the previous hospitalizations, they sold their home and car in order to downsize and live in the least costly way possible. Through this time, Hailey's mom has managed to organize fundraisers to help families like hers, and started a 501c3 non profit, Hailey's Hugs, to support families of children with cancer. Please consider lending a hand to this family at a time when there are in URGENT NEED, any amount is helpful and will alleviate the stress of worrying about finances when they are fighting for Hailey's life for the third time. Thank you. Here is sweet Hailey's story, as written by her mom, Tabaitha:

"At age 5, after battling 6 months of illnesses with no diagnosis,  doctors told us that what was making Hailey sick for so long was cancer! A parent's worst nightmare. We were told us it was ALL B-Cell Leukemia, and that it is 97% curable.

After 2.5 years of treatment, horrible side effects, and three near death experiences, the cancer was finally gone and life could go back to what it was before cancer! Sadly, that ended up being short lived.  Ten months after being treatment-free, the cancer came back. This time it was in her blood and spreading faster then the first.

Hailey was put back on treatment, this time the  treatment, and the side effects, were stronger and  harder on Hailey's little body than the first. We  never thought we'd see maintenance, but in  Aug. 2016 we finally got there.

In March of 2017, three days before Miss Hailey's 10th Birthday, we got the call that the cancer is back for a 3rd time.  Our doctor at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital  sent us to Boston to try a clinical trial, but Hailey didn't qualify,  so now we are headed to CHOP in PA in hopes the answers lie there with the CUR T-Cell clinical trial is what we should do for our daughter.  We are in limbo right now, going between both hospitals trying to find the best solution for our sweet Hailey.
