We are Slovenian noisepop/shoegaze band Haiku Garden. A month ago we released our first full length album "Where If Not Now". For the past week, we were touring in Spain. Unfortunately, we'll have to finish the tour earlier.

On Tuesday, 27. 11., it all turned into a nightmare. Thieves broke into our van in Granada, Spain. They took most of our gear. Most of the equipment can be replaced, but it still hurts. Being a DIY project (and students), we invested a lot of time and our own money over the years into slowly building up our equipment. Now it's mostly gone.

Because we are young and broke musicians and don't have a bunch of spare instruments waiting at home, these instruments were mostly all we had. Among the stolen items was also a laptop that belonged to our VJ Kristina that, along with her personal files and data, also contained all of our visuals. A few personal belongings went missing on top of the gear listed below.

After doing a police report, going through all the pawn shops in Granada and other desperate tries, we are now kindly asking for your help and solidarity. Addressing our supporters, fellow bands, concert goers and all of you who like (our) music and respect hard working DIY bands.
We have received incredible response from many people yesterday when we announced the devastating news and - to be honest - that's what's keeping us sane at the moment.

List of stolen items below. Valued at around 9000€ - however, we're trying to reach a smaller goal with this campaign.

The most generous donor will be rewarded with a private musical performed by the band, entitled "HAIKU JARDÍN: El Musical".

Truly yours,
Klemen, Luka, Anže, Kristina and Matevž - Haiku Garden
