Join the effort to recreate the Commons! A revolutionary three-day Hackathon in India (9-11 AUG 2019) aims to combine planetary integrity with human wellbeing to help solve the problem of poverty and inequality. Self-sustainable infrastructures of autonomous machines can be programmed to serve the common good using distributed ledger technology (DLT), such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and autonomous assets. People can pay a small fee for the goods and services offered, which can be used to:

1. re-invest to
a. grow the system
b. maintain the system
c. integrate new technologies

2. distribute the surplus to the community as a whole (i.e., provide a basic income to all)

You can get a quick idea of this mechanism here:
* 15 min presentation  of Jan-Peter Doomernik’s crazy thought about disruptive infrastructures
* 5 min pitch  of Hilde Latour for the Blockchaingers Hackathon in the Netherlands
* Explanation about how these disruptive infrastructures contribute to all sustainable development goals: presentation  (slides with explanatory text) at the UBIE conference (Unconditional Basic Income Europe) in Göteborg, Sweden
* Here  you’ll find a post referring to an article with a more technical approach from Trent McConaghy.

Up to 8 teams per track will co-create solutions relevant to mainly rural areas in India. Using collective intelligence, they will build on solutions that have an impact today. Teams will be challenged to come out of their comfort zone and experience the joy of letting go of mental constructs. Most probable tracks: Agriculture, Energy, Learning, Transport & Infrastructure, Water & Sanitation, Child & Women Safety, Health, New Communities.
