THE ECONOMY OF VENEZUELA IS A DISASTER, and its citizens are feeling the pain. Food is in short supply, the currency is worthless, and, the Washington Post reports, “Venezuela’s economy is so bad, parents are leaving their children at orphanages.”
The sick and dying are hit hardest of all. Store and pharmancy shelves are bare. Venezuela’s
health care system is collapsing . Hospitals lack food to feed patients and electricity to run medical equipment needed to keep babies alive. Life-saving drugs like antibiotics and kidney medications are in short supply, and what drugs are available are sky-rocketing in cost.

"Venzuela's Repressive Government Controls the Nation through Hunger, " reports the Huffington Post.

One organization, Programa de Auyda Humanitaria parap Venezuela, is gathering supplies here in the U.S. and shipping medical aid to responsible non-governmental distribution organizations in Venezuela, such as religious charties, university programs, nursing homes and orphanages.
