Our best bud was involved in a really bad accident and had to have emergency surgery at MCV. We’re raising money to keep him and his business afloat while he recovers in the meantime until he can start wrenching again!
***I’d really like to raise $1500-$2000 to cover base rent for the shop for him for 2-3 months so he can heal and not worry about keeping it open. Still won’t be enough to get through his full recovery but it’ll get him through the really hard part at the beginning until he can walk again!!
In short: A driver rolled through a stop and Sal had to T-bone straight into the car, causing him to fly 30ft down the street and break several major bones in his leg. He had to have surgery that night and is going to be in the hospital for the next few days starting recovery.
They said it’s gonna be a few months before he can really start working again, so in the meantime we’re raising money to cover rent for the shop (RVA Mopeds) to keep things running until he can get back at it.
Calling all our moped friends, Richmond friends and Sal’s friends across the country to help our bud out and keep the shop open for him until he can get back to work!! Sal has taken care of all of us a thousand times each. Hopefully everybody can step up and return the favor as best we can — he’s put a ton into opening this business this year and we want to do whatever we can to keep it afloat for him until he can work again!
