H4H Service Trip to Honduras

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity has sponsored a trip to Honduras each year for two decades. The time has come for our team to fundraise once again for this exciting opportunity. We are looking for individuals and organizations interested in being a part of this life-changing adventure for sixteen eager and enthusiastic students.
UNC’s team has traveled to Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Honduras for 20 years. Funds raised for this trip go towards materials for a home built for a family in the town of Siguatepeque, as well as trip costs for the student volunteers. These student volunteers will spend five days providing construction assistance to Honduran masons. Your generous donation will go towards materials, lodging, and food for the students dedicating their entire spring break doing service abroad with Habitat for Humanity. These students also dedicate countless hours throughout the school year organizing fundraisers, canvassing the community, and contacting businesses to support the cause.

Habitat for Humanity has been one of my biggest passions since I was in high school. I could not think of a better way to spend my spring break than visiting a new country, working for an organization that gives back to so many.
