Mia Moo is a beautiful little girl who on 1st July 2013 at only 21 months was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Over the last 2 years of Mia Moo's fight she has undergone endless blood and platelet transfusions, heart scans, numerous blood tests and trips to theatre for hickman line fitting, bone marrow testing, lumber punctures and chemotherapy (we have lost count). She still has chemotherapy daily, weekend antibiotics to help with her immune system and yet she still continues to show great strength, determination and keeps a smile on her face.
In June 2014 Mia’s family took her to Butlins Skegness. This was Mia’s first break since being diagnosed. Having seen how happy and relaxed Mia was and how much she enjoyed the weekend away, Mia Moo’s battle against Leukaemia is aiming to buy a holiday home.
We would love to offer other children like Mia the opportunity to have a holiday, build sandcastles, enjoy the fairground rides and to make happy memories with their families away from hospitals and the day to day nurse visits at home.
To make this happen we need to raise £40,000 for Mia Moo's 'Luxury Holiday Home.'
Mia Moo's crew have been fundraising tirelessly for the last 2 years by attending summer fetes, Christmas fayres, holding meal nights and hosting ladies nights.
While Mia Moo's crew will continue with their fundraising efforts we would also like to ask for your help with any donations no matter how big or small towards making this dream become reality.
