Greetings To all my family and friends on Facebook. I’m so excited to be in the land of the living and in a reasonable portion of health. For the past 8 years I have been suffering with a condition known as CKD, (Chronic Kidney Disease), which resulted in dialysis treatments to prolong my life without kidney function. It has been a journey with many tough days, doctor visits, dialysis treatments, and even tears some days. Through it all God has been good to me! In those tough days I’ve had the great support of my loving husband and sons, family and church family to get me through the rough times. I am now at a point in this journey where God has blessed me and touched the heart of someone to be a living donor for me. All testing has been completed and they are a perfect match. (Thank you!). My transplant takes place on August 7th, this summer. I currently need to raise funds for not just the surgery but meds, aftercare and to supplement my income. May 3rd, of 2019 I am having a benefit concert to assist in raising the amount of money needed. My medicine alone can be in excess of 5,000 plus dollars. I am asking for your help in this matter. I would love to see your beautiful face on May 3rd at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 7pm. Regardless of your donation or not. Also if you are unable to attend and can only be of a financial blessing, it will be greatly appreciated! I am praying that God will return to you 100 fold all that you give out! I am praying that you will lack no good thing and that the choice blessings of the Most High be upon you! Thank you for giving my sons back their mom, my husband back his wife, my family back their daughter, sister, and friend. I am grateful for this experience because I know who God is, what He can do, and how faithful He really is! Thank you Lord for your promises are sure!
