My name is Jessica Salemme- I'm a fashion obsessed vegan who's been climbing the retail ladder for almost ten years. I'm ready to use that passion and experience in a business venture that could help stimulate the economy and show people that you can look fabulous without compromising your ethics.
As a consumer and a vegan I sometimes struggle to find a centralized mecca for beauty and fashion that is free from animal testing, free from sweatshops and free from the use of animals as materials. My goal is to build an online boutique that specializes in just that, minus all the hemp and granola. This boutique will be aimed at young adults with such brands as YRU shoes, Matt & Nat, Stella mcartney, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Wills Shoes, Beyond Skin, Noah, Helen Moore,Black Score, Iron Fist, delikate Rayne and many more. My goal is to have all your vegan shopping needs centralized, and have our clients be able to put things in their cart without the stress of sorting through an entire site or dealing with the dissapointment of falling in love with that cute leather bag.
Your donations would be used towards building the website and investing in inventory. I have applied for a government business grant but in order for them to take my proposal seriously I need to put forth 10% of the money that they'd be investing by April 8th, 2016. The deadline is creeping up extremely fast, so I turn to you guys in hopes that you could donate anything to make this proffesional dream a reality for me.
