Help Linda get to Emory Hospital

Linda's seizures, and the symptoms of traumatic brain injury are getting much worse. There are grand mal seizures almost every day. Her memory, her attention span, language, problem solving..... virtually everything in life has gotten harder. Some of it is because of seizures.... Some because of the brain surgery that left her brain injured.... some because of endless falls and head trauma.... Some we don't know why.

She is in distress. Incredible overwhelming distress. At least one doctor has told her she has the beginnings of dementia and we are both terrified.

The doctor today referred her to Emory Hospital in Atlanta for specialized neurological care. She is fighting for life, for any quality of life. He says what she needs is past Knoxville and she has not a lot of time to delay.

We have to get a handle on seizures. The traumatic brain injury symptoms are disrupting life significantly. Please help.

We live in poverty as most of you know. I don't know how to get her to Atlanta. My car probably won't make it. I need to find an option. I am not sure honestly of all the expenses ahead. I know they are significant. If you can't help financially your prayers and support are already a significant help and we are so grateful.

Please share with as many people as possible. This was a day of much bad news and the challenges ahead are significant.
