Bang's Medical Fund

Mr. Bang is a 79-year-old Thai man I met while photographing the Klongtoey slums. I walked around a corner, heard moaning, and saw him sitting in his doorway, unable to walk. I began talking with him and learned his story.  Both of his legs were broken when he was hit by a motorcycle.

Now both legs are permanently disfigured and he is unable to straighten them or walk.

It is my goal to have him seen by a specialist in an effort to make his remaining years more comfortable. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
