Joyce Stephens-Roth Memorial Fund

February 10th 2016 our mother Joyce Stephens-Roth had a heart attack and was admitted into St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Each day following we continued to receive devastating news. Our mother age 69 has now been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that entered the lymph nodes and mastised to the brain. She has 8 tumors in her brain, a collapsed lung and only 35% of her heart is functioning along with the mass of lung cancer. Doctors have told us we have limited time and hospice care has started here at the hospital to help with pain management and peace/comfort as she transitions over to a life with God. Joyce retired in 2006 from serving 36 years at the Merry Go Round Restaurant and The Carousel in Evansville Indiana. Unfortunately Joyce does not have any life insurance. Our mother is terminal and her daughters are left feeling lost and confused on what we do next. We are asking for help to grant her last wish. Mothers wish is to go to Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana. That is where our father who we lost in 2004 and all of our family has went to. With burial at Maple Grove Cementary next to her husband, our father. However most funeral homes as well as Koehlers will not accept without payment. We are asking family, friends, or anyone we can for help. Watching this has been one of the hardest things we've had to endure. Our only hope is to raise money to give this sweet lady the funeral she deserves.
