The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a 501 non-profit organization founded in the United States that arranges experiences described as "wishes" to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Grand Valley State University Student Athlete Advisory Committee raises money every year for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year we are closer than ever to our annual goal of $10,000 (this number covers the cost of one "wish" for a termanilly ill child).
We are using GoFundMe.com as a platform to reach out to the families of Grand Valleys' student-athletes as well as alumni who are not near/around our campus to attend our fundraising events.
