Help the Crawley's

Donation protected
The Crawleys moved their family of 5 to Charlotte four years ago so that their oldest son, Keagan, a severe dyslexic could attend Dore Academy.     The Crawley's also have two girls, Kali who's 14 and Kaiden who's 7.

Kevin was a police captain for the Pawtucket Police Department and decided to commute from RI to NC until he could retire. This August, Kevin finally decided, after four long years it was time to retire. In early September, while shaving he felt a lump on the side of his neck. He flew back to RI to finish up some business and to visit the doctor to see what the lump was on the side of his neck. He flew back to NC to break the news to his family that he had been diagnosed with stage four throat cancer.

The Crawley's  have begun their cancer journey.  Kevin had an operation to try and remove the tumor in the back of his throat, the doctors could not get everything. After that surgery they found that it had matastasized to the lymph nodes in his neck. This week, Kevin had surgery to put a feeding tube in because they are afraid of how much weight he will loose. Kevin will soon begin radiation and chemotherapy.

Kara Crawley is a elementary school teacher that I work with and she does not have any paid leave days left to be able to stay home and care for her husband while he is going through his treatments. This has become a financial hardship on the family. On top of this the medical bills will begin to pile up.

Please consider helping this family in need.
