Hi we are the Johnson's!
After many many years of dealing with infertility and suffering the loss of twin babies to prematurity, after exhausting all of our funds to do IVF. In 2013 we were blessed to have won a free IVF treatment from SIRM in Las Vegas, and with the help of family we were able to fly down and receive that cycle , which resulted in 13 viable embryos. We got pregnant in March of 2013 but after 12 weeks the baby's heartbeat stopped and we were devastated. But the clinic offered to do another cycle with our embryos and it resulted in our sweet precious baby girl. She was born at only 23 weeks weighing 1pd 3oz at birth and was given less than 5% chance of survival. But after many many prayers and the power of love she survived. She spent over 144 days in the NICU, she is currently a little over two years old and we really want to pursue trying to give her a sibling and to grow our family. But due to medical bills and just some unfortunate things in our lives we aren't able to come up with the money needed for a FET (frozen embryo transfer) and flight, hotel etc...
So we are reaching out to you to find it in your heart to help us make another dream come true. It is hard for me to ask for help but I'm running out of time, I just turned 39 years old and pregnancy is higher risk after 40! And I would like to have every chance to be able to have a healthy pregnancy. The cost of IVF, FET, IUI these things are so costly and for the average household it takes forever or sometimes never to raise that money. I know in my heart we will be blessed again and that there will be people out there that understand, the pain and frustration it is to have to have a family this way! It's not the way I would have imagined when I was in my younger days, but this is the hand that was dealt to me and I will accept it with grace.
