Gunner's Medical Expenses

On December 23rd, 2016 Jennifer noticed that her happy, engergetic, outdoor loving 13 year old son Gunner was not feeling well. She took him to their family doctor who after a few initial tests immediately sent them to Riley Children's Hospital. After more tests and a 3-hour MRI Jennifer &Tim and Derrek were informed that Gunner has a tumor on his brain stem.  They are meeting with a radiation specialist on December 28th, 2016 to try to shrink the tumor.  Their lives have been flipped upside down in an instant. They are at a loss for words and this family has hit the ground running trying to figure out what they are going to do to try and save Gunner. I've created this page for the family in hopes of relieving some financial stress for them all. My name is Shelly and have I worked with Derrek who is Gunners Step-father for close to 3 years and have had the pleasure of spending time with Jennifer & their children.  This family is truly a joy to be around and you can feel the love they have for the children.  They are very nuturing and supportive parents who work very hard to provide a good life for all 3 of them. Their focus now is on Gunner and making sure that he is cared for the best that they can-all while maintaining a sense of normalcy at home for their 2 daughters. They need prayers 1st and foremost.  God is the center of this family unit and it's a beautiful thing to witness.  Secondly, I am asking for any monetary donations that you could possibly send.  They will need to take time off of work to support Gunner in this new path that he now has to take. All monies received will be sent directly to Jennifer and used for medical bills, food, utilities and any other family expenses.  This has all unfolded quickly and I will keep everyone updated as I am updated.
