Animal Sanctuary

We rescued Mister Henry, the dog you see in the picture. He is 9 years old and was in a shelter due to be killed. He had cataracts, heartworm and a chest infection but with love and care he is now a healthy happy dog. 

Older dogs don't get a lot of luck being taken from shelters and so generally have their lives ended.. not because they did anything wrong, but because someone didn't want them anymore.  A mature dog has given love and loyalty all his life, but when he needs it from us most is when he's older..  We have 7 dogs, most rescue dogs, but we want to have many more, to focus on mature dogs and give them a good home for the rest of their days..  so that whatever trauma has happened to them in their lives, they will spend their last days here happy...

We work hard and dedicate all spare funds to animals. No vacations, no days off, no eating out -  and we are grateful for the chance to do this for animals, it's a privelage not a sacrifice .. however we can only do so much with what we have now, and so we are aiming to buy somewhere where we have more space to have more dogs.   In order to afford that we need more cash than we can generate even working 7 days a week..

We want to purchase somewhere, just a shell that we can fix up with hard work, something we're quite used to and we can just about afford that at a push if we find a bargain.. but we are reaching out for help for some additional funds..  these additional funds for are for land, to buy somewhere with enough land to enable us to help as many dogs as we can because without the land its not possible...
