Guitar Geek Festival DVD & Blu-Ray!

The "Guitar Geek Festival" was a ten-year event that was held every January at the NAMM show in Anaheim, California. Deke Dickerson and his army of guitar-obsessed "geeks" put on THE best guitar event of all time!
For the first nine years, there was a DVD offered for sale of the event. (and the 8th and 9th festivals also were released on Blu-Ray) Guitar Player Magazine designated the Guitar Geek Festival DVD's on their list of the "50 Greatest Guitar DVDs of all time!"
Unfortunately, the market for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs disappeared. Between streaming and YouTube and people making copies for their friends, the profit margin went away, and the last three editions of the Guitar Geek Festival lost money. Financially, it was not worth it to release the last Guitar Geek Festival DVD & Blu-Ray, and it has remained unreleased until now.
The last Guitar Geek Festival was a HELL of a blowout! Headliners included Man Or Astroman?, Barbara Lynn, Los Straightjackets, the Randy Fuller Four, Jimmy Vivino, Dave Gleason, Paul Pigat, Joel Paterson, Del Casher, Thom Bresh and Brian Lonbeck, The Outta Sites, Brian Kehoe, Ashley Kingman with Ramblin' James, tribute to Bill Gruggett, and many many others!
Due to a hearty demand from dedicated fans that the last Guitar Geek Festival be released, we have turned to crowd funding as a way to make this exciting video available to the public at last.
The money we are seeking to raise involves these basic costs. We are not figuring in any profit for this, we just want the video available to the public!
Our $6000 goal includes:
$1200 video editing and authoring
$1000 sound mixing
$250 graphic art design for chapter pages, disc art and packaging
$2100 manufacturing and shipping cost for 1000 DVDs
$1000 manufacturing and shipping cost for 100 Blu-Ray discs
$450 misc costs (tape transfer, equipment rental, hard drives, etc.)

For $2000, Deke Dickerson will come to your house and give a special solo performance private party, just for you! In addition, Deke will give free Guitar Geek DVDs, CDs, posters and other free merch to you and your party-goers--everybody wins!
Of course, donations in any amount are always welcome, as every last dollar helps achieve our goal of releasing the fantastic last Guitar Geek Festival to the public!
