Support Family of Guillermo Comme

My name is Laura Comme and my family and I have recently been put through a horrific tragedy.  My family and I were at a BBQ, enjoying a typical weekend filled with family members, friends, music and laughter. My husband, Guillermo Comme was fatally shot during an armed carjacking in front of the home. This night will forever be ingrained in my memory as the worst day of my life. Guillermo is my everything, my best friend, my soulmate, and my hero.  He is a US Marine who survived seperate tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq.   He was given multiple awards for his service including a Good Conduct Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and was released with an honorable discharge.  He is a dedicated and loving father to our 9 year old daughter, Mya.  He is also an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.  He went above and beyond to help others in need, with genuine love in his heart.  

I am in a current state of shock, not knowing what my future holds for myself and our daughter.  We married in 2013 and purchased a home in Florida in 2014.  We are a family that needs two incomes in order to survive our morgage and other monthly expenses.  When we bought our house, it needed a lot of work.  Guillermo put his heart and soul into renovating it to become our dream home.  It makes me sick to my stomach to think I will not be able to afford living here after all of his hard work and dedication.  I also do not want to disrupt our daughters life and try to maintain a sense normalcy as much as I possibly can.  The money donated will simply help to support my daughter and I survive.

My family and I appreciate the kind words and prayers we have already received.  Our family is overwhelmed with the outpour of love.  We are thankful and eternally grateful for everyones support during this immensely difficult time.
