Guatemala Volcano Assistance

St. John's Lutheran Church in San Antonio Texas has a scheduled mission ministry trip to Solola Guatemala the week of June 10-17 2018. On June 3rd Vulcan de Fuego, a large volcano between Guatemala City and Solola erupted, sending thousands of people into shelters and needing assistance. We are asking for additional funds to give more assistance than we planned during this trip.
We have an existing relationship with a Catholic school and church in Guatemala, and our assistance will be based out of this location, Escuela Santa Teresita in Soloa Guatemala. We will be taking all donated funds (in addition to our planned funding)  in cash to provide immediate assistance once we are on the ground, where it is needed.
