One week until the big race and we are half way to my adjusted goal of $3000.
I provide outdoor adventures for youth in the Santa Monica area, mostly 2-6 years old. I have created a program that combines my love for teaching with what I love to do in my personal life. It has led to so many amazing experiences in our first full school year. You can get a little sense of what we do at G-Team Kids.
My goal is to keep this amazing program going strong into the second school year and for years to come. I have goals I would like to achieve and I believe I can accomplish those goals with your support. I will run and I will run hard for this. If you know me you know that I give it my all when it comes to my running. I have yet to meet a trail run that I have not medaled in. The big race is up in the Santa Cruz area Berry Creek Falls on June 3rd. I took third place in my division at the Malibu Creek training race. I am in a pretty good spot physically and will be pushing hard during this week so I can bring home the gold.
We are just about half way to the $3000 goal!! The latest tally of all donations puts us at $1460. The funds from this fundraiser will go to:
- website development
- employing my amazing staff of teachers with more hours and higher pay (I keep a 3:1 teacher to student ratio)
- curriculum materials (shovels, buckets, books, shade structures for the beach, paint, etc...)
- The G-Team van
- In the long term, a physical location
No donation is too big or too small, they are all appreciated and going towards a great cause.
