DANCERS AGAINST CANCER

Donation protected
GTB + DAC (DANCERS AGAINST CANCER) UNITE TOGETHER TO HELP THE FIRST OF MANY DANCE FAMILIES!
As you may know DAC is a huge charity is USA which has given close to $1 million in donations to those in need. Now established in Australia and ready to make a difference in our beautiful dance community!

THE HELP NEEDED
The first recipients are a beautiful family from the Sunshine Coast. Noel Santos and Taneikah Wescombe are recently married and with a new born baby and a Studio to run which most of you know - The House of Sole.
Cancer has hit Noel hard and fast and sadly it is spreading quickly. So many people are affected by this as they are such a generous and kind couple. They teach all over the Coast and Australia and Internationally.

Noel is now unable to teach while receiving treatment, Taneikah has a large studio to run plus baby Z. Being in the prime of her professional career - everything is now on hold and this affects everything from time to finance.

THE PLEDGE
So far 5 young male dancers have signed up to support our first DAC Australia family in need. These 5 boys will shave their heads at GTB Finals in September 2017. Hopefully we get more on board, and some girls, coloured hair is also available for those that dont want to shave - lets spread this and raise as much as we can!!

THIS IS NOELS STORY:
Very blessed and thankful for my family/friends here and back home. I don't think I'd be handling this the way I am if it weren't for them.

Early in the year I started experiencing pain in my lower back which then eventually travelled to my abdomen area. Went in to my local GP and did some tests and was quickly sent to the ER. Did more tests and came back with shocking results. I got diagnosed with Germ cell tumour "testicular cancer". The disease is mostly located behind my abdomen area which travelled down to one of my testicles. Unfortunately, things like this just happen to people, no reasonable cause other than it getting passed down through genetics. I won't be going through surgery, but I will be going through chemotherapy.

Side effects from treatment will take a huge toll out of me so I kindly ask for your prayers and positive energy through this journey. Mentally prepared and feeling strong about this. Going to give this cancer one hell of a dance battle.
