Jace's Eagle Scout Project-Op. Hope
Donation protected
My name is Jace Elton and I am a Life Scout from Boy Scout Troop 702 in Vista. I am currently planning my Eagle Project and I am seeking donations of money for all of the materials that will be required to carry out my project that may not be donated by supply centers. My project will be to build two storage sheds for a homeless outreach for Women and Children known as Operation HOPE. Go to www.operationhopeshelter.org for more information about the shelter. These large sheds are needed for the storage of chairs, tables, and other supplies. The storage and organization of these items will reduce the risk of children at the facility injuring themselves as these items are currently stored out in the courtyard near where the kids play. I am planning on starting the work as soon as we get enough funds or donations. We would like to have the project completed before Thanksgiving as the shelter opens December 1st for the cold season.
A monetary donation or donated materials would be greatly appreciated. We have estimated the cost of the materials to be approximately $1,800.00. I will organize all volunteer labor to construct, paint, and then re-assemble the sheds at the shelter. Any excess funds donated will be given to the Shelter.
I am very grateful for any assistance you can provide to help me in my Eagle Project. Your assistance and thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
JACE ELTON
